WTF Situations

I am a self justified person with a three track mind as I can’t think beyond Heavy Metal, getting wasted and getting laid. Whenever someone tries to inject religious views by force, I just can’t stand it. I am a very open minded person with my heart in my forehead; anyone can see what I feel. Religion is a very sacred thing, no matter whatever the religion is and I would really appreciate if you keep your religious views to yourself. Its not that I don’t believe in God, I too believe in a supreme being because the world is too amazing, way too complicated and so perfect for just Mama Nature alone to create without the intervention of a supreme being. But it really pisses me off when someone tells me that the gates of heaven are closed for me just because I don’t frequent the Church, as if he gets daily updates straight from St. Peters. It even pisses me more when they call me a sinner for drinking alcoholic beverages on weekends and the worst part is they always bring this verse from the bible ‘Know ye not that ye are the temple of God, and that the Spirit of God dwelled in you? If any man defile the temple of God, him shall God destroy; for the temple of God is holy, which temple ye are’. What these religious fanatics don’t get is the junk food and the spicy food that they love so much is also not doing any good to their Temple of God.

Lately am pissed off with so many things, because my life is full of WTF situations. First my landlord’s son got married and they want to stay in my Apartment, which I don’t have any problem if they would have told me a month earlier not a week before the end of the month. I have full right to stand for this but I can’t stand their begging anymore. They are using all the super cheezy Bollywood dialogues to convenience me like ‘his newly married bride might not sleep with him, which he is been dreaming off since the first day of puberty, if I don’t move out, her parent won’t give enough dowry if they don’t have a separate apartment for themselves. I just can’t stand all these, so I have to find a place or else their cheezy Bollywood dialogues will drive me mad. Secondly my work place is infested with grasshopper, just like in Egypt during Moses times and to top it, I killed a grasshopper because that bastard wanted a sip from my cup and unfortunately one of those super fanatic Animal lovers, or should I say Grasshopper fans saw me squashing a grasshopper. He gave me a full course on the feelings and sentiments of grasshopper. Now I feel as if I have a master degree on the feeling of Grasshopper. Well, it was not a one way mouth war, am not sure but I guess I called him an unreasonable, unrealistic pussy, which I believe suits him. The sad part is though they show so much emotion towards grasshoppers but these same people won’t even spare a single penny if they met a hungry homeless beggar.

These are some WTF situation that I have to deals right now… The job search is on and I’ve got some job offer but they all want me to shift to Mumbai which I can’t because every year I see in the news about Mumbai flood and it really scares me because I don’t want to get stuck in such a situation because I can’t swim.

P.s: I was caught up in some work and I could not post my weekly ‘Metal Photo Tuesday’. Anyways, I have so really good stuff for next week….

  2. I'm so so sorry. I know you're in this WTF situations but I couldn't help but laugh cuz you sounded so miserable! Shoot me. Okay jokes apart, what's with these landlords/tenants. My tenants left last month giving me a week's notice. How I've cursed him? I still haven't found another tenant. Argh! And the same ole same ole bolly sentis.

"He gave me a full course on the feelings and sentiments of grasshopper"? You should've sqaushed another one! So much for worrying about a grasshopper's feelings. Do they have feelings actually?

And addiction to anything is sin. But we're all sinners, eh? And God's oft-forgiving. Just don't listen to such people and give that heart in your forehead some rest ;)

Oops! this is a long one :D

  8. I know how you feel about people pushing religion down your throat. It's the most annoying thing that I can think of. I don't push you on my personal interests, why are YOU?

  13. Loollzz... Sorry for laughing (But it was fun reading the post)... Well, I can empathise with you.. Sometimes, people are so unreasonable and dictate us as if they know everything... I really hate such people.. I liked the "the gates of heaven are closed for me just because I don’t frequent the Church, as if he gets daily updates straight from St. Peters."

I know.. Even I don't visit temples frequently but I don't treat people badly, I haven't robbed anyone or have not broken somebody's trust.. So, I know I'm a good human being and I need not to visit temples to prove this..

Loved reading the post.. And yeah, don't leave Delhi for Mumbai.. Delhi is much cheaper and better place to live than Mumbai (No offence to Mumbaians)..

And last, I'm eagerly waiting for the Next Metal Tuesday Photo :) Keep Posting...

    Take Care,
    Ann
