(Updated: Read my post on How to watch Metallica In India for Free here: Click Me)

Finally, we can officially book Metallica India concert tickets. I was overwhelmed when I realize that Metallica is really playing in India. Deep down inside I had this feeling that they were going to cancel the concert. Thank God, Metallica in India is a fact now. I have booked my tickets last Saturday, of course the front row which cost 2740. It’s a bit expensive compared to past international acts but come on its Metallica, the best freaking thrash Metal band in the world after Slayer. The tickets will be delivered to my home somewhere in August. Am really excited to see how the tickets will look like.

If you still haven’t booked your Metallica India concert tickets, I would suggest that you book ASAP.

Where to book: www.ticketgenie.in

Ticket cost
  • Front Row: Rupees 2750
  • Back Row: Rupees 1600 (I forgot the actual amount. Give or take some hundred bucks)
I remember I was suppose to share you guys ‘how to watch Metallica India Concert for Free’, well, I’ll be posting that this week.

Why Vegetarianism is Lame

Vegetarianism! I don’t think human beings can become any lamer than Vegetarianism. Our forefathers fought and sacrificed their lives so that we can be on top of the food chain and here we are advocating Vegetarianism. I don’t think ancient human beings would be proud of us. Making our forefathers proud is not enough to prove why we should drop the whole idea of Vegetarianism, but I have solid proof to support why vegetarianism sucks.

Reason 1
Imagine if all these animal right organizations and vegan somehow manage to convince the leaders of the world to declare meat eating illegal, economy of all those countries will go haywire. Meat is a vast industry and millions of lives depend on this industry to survive. Imagine if they impose this view all these individuals will become jobless. Will the government offer them alternative ways to earn their livelihood? All these butchers, animal farmers and fishermen’s will be screwed. That’s not all. Can you imagine the thousands of people who work with KFC, MC Donald and so on will all go jobless!

Reason 2
Can you give me just one point about the advantage of a chicken or a pig if we don’t eat them? If we let them live these animals, our cities, towns and villages will be a huge animal farm and let’s not forget the smell.

Reason 3

Above all, the most important reason why we should drop the idea of Vegetarianism is they taste good, what better reason than that. I can’t even imagine surviving on vegetables alone.

P.s. Writing this post made me so hungry. Now I have to have roasted pork ribs.

70's Songs That Changed The Music Scene

Floppy disk, LCD, VCR or videocassette, liposuction, Cell phones, Disco and Walkman were all invented in the 1970’s and along with these inventions the 70’s was also the era when some of the most awesome songs were composed. The 70’s re-shaped the music world and thank god it did. I personally consider the 70’s as the golden era for music. Without the 70’s, music won’t be the same. The 70’s bands made such a huge impact to the music scene, these bands were reflected in the form of the 80’s glam rock, thrash metal, the New Wave of British Heavy Metal, Progressive Bands, Death Metal, Black Metal, Grunge and Alternative Rock. Unfortunately the descendant of the later bands did not turn out to be that great after all who in the world consider metal core, Emo Metal and nu metal as part of the Heavy Metal Family.

If it wasn’t for the 70’s we all would have been grooving to the hordes of studio produced pop artists and bands. Trust me 99.9% of these pop artists can’t sing, but they do know how to dance.

Here is a list of songs that I personally consider as the 70’s songs that change the music scene. In fact these songs are also considered as some of the best songs ever.

  • Stairway To Heaven - Led Zeppelin
  • Bohemian Rhapsody - Queen
  • Dream On - Aerosmith
  • Sultans of Swing - Dire Straits
  • Smoke On the Water - Deep Purple
  • Symptom of the Universe - Black Sabbath
  • Comfortably Numb - Pink Floyd
  • Baba O'Riley - The Who

BTW, I can’t stop listening to Dire Straits’ So Far Away. Right now, no other song means so much as this song. It’s been a long time since I was with my girl and seriously am tired of making out on the telephone.

Kayaking! You Thought I was Bluffing

Remember when I told you that its possible to kayak in Delhi. I mean it literally. Still don't believe it, here are some pictures.

Right Outside my Office. It hurts to see my smoking zone flooded.

Am thinking of buying a Kayak now.

BTW this is my favorite place to grab a glass of Tea. It's nothing swanky but the tea is great and very cheap.

I wish i was him, napping instead of working.

That's all for now. Will surely update with more pictures on Kayaking.

P.s. Did you know that Stairway to Heaven is an amazing song to listen while working.

Metallica in India: Metallica India Tickets are Up for Booking

(Updated: Incase if you need a ticket to the Metallica show in Delhi, let me know. I have a friend who has an extra pass.)

(Updated: Read my post on How to watch Metallica In India for Free here: Click Me)

(Update: Guys Metallica india tour 2011 tickets are up for sale. Visit http://www.ticketgenie.in/ and book your tickets)

The wait for Metallica India concert tickets is over. Finally there are some updates from both the Metallica official websites as well as Ticketgenie.in, the site where we can book Metallica concert tickets. The deal is, we can’t buy the Metallica concert tickets for Bangalore or Delhi, but what we can do is, we can reserve the tickets. I visited ticketgenie.in yesterday and what we can do is, we need to fill up an online form where we have to note down details like our mobile number, email address, number Metallica concert tickets for Delhi or Bangalore. By 1st week of August, ticketgenie people will contact you for the real Metallica India Concert tickets.

I personally this is a bullshit idea. Why can’t they just give us a date where we can go and book out Metallica concert tickets. The suspense is too much. In a way I feel that they are doing this just to have some kind of a calculation to know how much they can earn.

Fellow Metal Heads, don’t waste any of your precious moments. Visit Ticketgenie.in and fill up those freaking forms. I feel like am applying for some college, instead of booking for Metallica in India concert tickets.
