After all these years living in the nation capital, I have learnt that to beat Delhi 40 + summer temperature is, don’t stay inside! Yep, yep, am serious. I may sound like a wacko but it does work. Staying at home feels more like staying inside an oven but if you go out and face the sun, you don’t feel the heat that much. But make sure you apply tons of sunscreen and drink lots of liquid (non-alcoholic).
Since the summer started, I have been very busy, planning where to go every weekend. I have been to all the historic attractions in Delhi more than anyone here, in fact, I can move around the Red Fort and Qutab Minar blindfolded, I can exactly tell which couple will be where and what they will be doing inside Purana Qila and Lodi Gardens. I love visiting Purana Qila but after a recent incident, which involved a couple madly
super horny in love and lots of squeezing and passionate caressing around certain parts of the body, I think am not mentally prepared to visit Purana Qila anytime soon.
Fortunately there still is one place that I love to visit time and time again. I just love visiting the National Zoological Park of Delhi. Here are some pictures of Delhi Zoo from a recent visit.
Can you see the empty plastic bottle in the lower right side. Some guys were trying to hit the lioness with that. The sad part was, even the zoo staffs were not stopping them.
And Of-course the dinosaurs Section
Things you need to know:
- Lots of water but you don't have to carry it, You can buy it inside the zoo
- Sunscreen is a must unless you are going for the tandoori chicken look
- Some Stones or bricks to hit those people trying to hit the animals in the zoo with empty bottles
- Don’t try to high five with the monkeys
